Rouh Ting has more than 20 years of professional experience, including having at least 18 years of audit experience in a mid-tier global accounting firm. She had been a Financial Controller in a public listed company in Singapore during her two years of experience working in the commercial sector.
Rouh Ting has considerable audit experience in various industries including shipping, agriculture, construction, energy, information technology, manufacturing, hospitality, trading and retail companies and charity organisations. She has been involved in audit engagements for public listed companies, small to large non-listed corporation and family-owned business. She completed an Initial Public Offering exercise as the Reporting Accountants for a Singapore company listed on the Mainboard of Singapore Stock Exchange in October 2020.
In January 2023, Rouh Ting completed The Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) Programme awarded by Nanyang Technological University and Institute of Valuers and Appraisals, Singapore.
Yong Zhi became an integral part of our team in March 2018. Over the course of his decade-long professional career, he has audit experience in a diverse number of sectors, including trading, service, construction, shipping, F&B, and investment. Yong Zhi holds credentials as a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant, he has also completed the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser program in Singapore. His diverse skill set and commitment makes him a valued member of our team.
Victor has more than 25 years of assurance experience and is registered as a public accountant with ACRA. He is also a chartered accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), a member of the ISCA’s Investigation and Disciplinary Panel and a fellow practicing member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He has also served as a committee member of the ISCA’s Financial Statements Review Committee and board member of the ISCA’s Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee. His audit experience includes businesses in the financial services sector such as banks, insurance companies, stock-broking firms and fund management companies as well as several listed and unlisted companies.
Yong Song has over 20+ years of experience in auditing and accounting. Yong Song has been a practicing member of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants since 1999, and is also a Member of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals. In his over two-decade career, Yong Song has assisted numerous clients in successfully completing turnkey projects to computerize accounting and administrative functions.
Celina has over 11 years of audit experience in a wide range of industries, including technology and software, retail, shipping management, service construction, manufacturing and trading, and large charities/Institutions of a Public Character and other not-for-profit organisations. Her portfolio includes SMEs, subsidiaries of foreign listed companies, start-ups, as well as holding companies of multinational subsidiaries.
Prior to joining Ardent, she spent over eight years in one of the Big 4 accounting firms where she accumulated considerable experience in the audit of multinationals and public-listed companies in Singapore and Malaysia. Celina has also been involved in Reporting Accountant engagements for companies listed in Hong Kong and Malaysia, as well as compliance reporting engagements for MNC clients. She has completed the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) programme and is currently en route to becoming a CVA charter-holder.
Janet is an experienced audit practitioner with more than 10 years of experience as an Accountant in China. She brings many unique insights and approaches to the table with her specialisation in wholly-owned foreign companies and joint ventures between China and Singapore.
Wee Kwang with more than 19 years of audit experience, his technical and commercial knowledge stands him in good stead in dealing with clients across industries and varying stages of growth. Being a Certified Internal Auditor has seen him being involved in corporations across the globe, including companies listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange and GEM Hong Kong Exchange.
With more than a decade of experience in the audit profession, Soo Rui is experienced in a variety of core accounting skills – audit, taxation and accounting. In addition, she has handled several Merger & Acquisition transactions. She finds deep fulfilment in delivering practical solutions to clients. A firm believer in constant learning, Soo Rui exemplifies this quality by staying abreast with the ever-changing demands of the industry by regularly updating herself with professional courses as an ISCA member. Soo Rui is currently pursuing the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser qualification.
Paul has more than 25 years’ experience in managing a wide variety of complex assignments, which includes extensive exposure to audit and assurance, tax advisory and investigation, internal audit, corporate recovery, M&A deals including financial and tax due diligence. More recently, he was the lead consultant for several Singapore Government agencies-supported business consulting engagements.
Paul currently also serves as an independent director on the Boards of three Singapore public listed companies; Serial System Ltd, Second Chance Properties Ltd and Pollux Properties Ltd. His past directorship in listed companies comprised China Sunshine Chemical Holdings Ltd and Sin Ghee Huat Corporation Ltd.
Fiona has more than 15 years of experience in the transaction and valuation field. She has team-led, managed and supported numerous projects providing a whole spectrum of transaction advisory services to clients in a wide range of industries. During her stint in her previous careers, Fiona has worked with both local and overseas companies, including private companies, SMEs and publicly listed companies. The clients served are in varied industries, including but not limited to the following, i.e. utilities, stem cell banking and life sciences, healthcare, construction, financial technology, food & beverage, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, education, agriculture and real estate.
Edwin is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience and is an internal audit practitioner; serving clients in both private and public sectors with a focus on governance, risk management and compliance. He is certified in Risk and Information Systems Control and holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance. His experience includes working with Institutions of a Public Character, Singapore government ministries and agencies, fund management companies regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, manufacturing and trading companies. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Internal Auditor. In his spare time, Edwin volunteers by serving on the management boards of several non-profit organisations. He has also published research and policy papers focused on cybersecurity and insider threats.
Woon Pheng brings over two decades of experience in accounting and finance, specialising in business valuation, intangible asset valuation, IFRS compliance and advisory, financial and tax due diligence, transaction advisory, forensic accounting, fraud investigation, and litigation support services.
He serves on several professional bodies, including the Investigation and Disciplinary Panel of ISCA, the Certification & Disciplinary Working Group of the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore, and the Panel of Financial Experts scheme between ISCA and the Family Justice Courts. He is also an IPOS-endorsed Intellectual Assets/Intellectual Property valuation expert.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences and professional education workshops, Woon Pheng contributes to the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification and Chartered Valuer & Appraiser Programme. He currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences and Murdoch University, teaching corporate finance and business valuation.
